Hard Grade Wood

Hard woods are the most dense. They will last longer than other woods as they are more dense. However, they will not burn as hot or be as easy to light as softer woods. It is suggested to start your fire with kindling or a softer wood first, then to add hard wood on after to keep it going for a long time.
